…By Providing Professional Building Inspections:
Whether you own a building and are concerned about it’s condition, or are looking to buy or sell a property, you owe it to yourself or your company to have your building professionally inspected. An inspection can give you piece of mind that your investment is a sound one, or identify key areas that need attention.
Michaud Engineering is a proud member of the National Academy of Building Inspection Engineers (NABIE). Why should this be important to you? Click here to learn how NABIE is different from other building inspection organizations:
Home Inspections:
Your home is your most valuable asset. Whether you are looking to purchase a new home or have specific concerns about the home you are currently living in, Michaud Engineering Inc. can perform a detailed inspection for you, and provide you with the information you need to make informed decisions for your family. All inspections are performed by a licensed professional engineer, and while this may not be required all areas, you get the confidence of knowing that the inspector has met the rigorous requirement necessary to be licensed as a Professional Engineer. Commercial Building Inspections:
One often overlooked, but critically important inspection service is that of commercial buildings. Most home inspectors lack the training and experience to properly inspect and evaluate the very different building systems found in commercial buildings. Michaud Engineering has that experience and we inspect 7 – 10 million s.f. of commercial real estate each year. Commercial buildings are large, complicated and represent a significant investment for the buyer or lessee. This is business – it is about data and dollars. Your due diligence in any purchase or lease should include a thorough, professional evaluation.
Retail Building Inspections:
Another market segment that can benefit from building inspections are retailers that manage multiple locations. To maintain consistency over your portfolio or to make sure that remote locations are in good condition, whether they are in operation or shut down, periodic inspections can provide key information and peace of mind. Clients can choose to receive the report of their inspection in a variety of ways – paper bound, electronic, or both. We take many photos during the inspection to capture the details and video inspections are also available. For information on what a typical residential building inspection looks like, click here:
Commercial building inspections are similar in format, but can vary by client request and the type of building and equipment on site.
